Course Description This session introduces participants to the 3ds Max core interface, tools, functions, concepts, and design environment. Learn to make basic 3D models using geometry, shapes, poly tools, scene, organic poly modeling, and mapping. Learn 3ds Max workflow and make your first 3D animation. The lessons will include in-class, hands-on practice and lab time to develop beginning models and animations. |
Course Objectives
This session will focus on basic understanding (principle) on the software, creating simple modeling and animating a scene/object. Participants without experience will find this session very easy to learn and understand the principle on how to utilize the software at beginner level. Although this session is more suitable and recommended for anyone who just about started to learn 3D modeling and animation, users from various industries such as architectural practices, visualisation studios, production houses, advertising/boradcasting agencies or other such departments that work in large organisations could also join to refresh their fundamental knowledge. At the end of the training session, participants should gain fundamental knowledge and skills in 3d modeling and animation using 3ds Max. They will be also exposed on how to work in a production environment, understand the 3ds Max mechanisme, able to create 3D models using various techniques, work with materials to texture the models, understand how to light a scene, able to create animations, stage a scene, and finally produce a presentable rendering output. |
